Climate journalist Dahr Jamail uses storms on Denali, the highest mountain in North America, as an analogy for the responsibility scientists and journalists have to be truthful to people about the dire ecological situation we are in. When a storm is approaching on a mountain, guides must warn all climbers of its true potential impact, in order to help them to prepare adequately for the worst – even if that means being told of the possibility that they might not survive.

Denali is the first release by swiss-based producer The Saltire Cade and Jasnazima. Its name is a nod to the historical moment in which this music was produced.
